Attendance

1. Pupils must be very regular in the attendance.No leave may be taken before or after the limits of the school vacation periods.


2. Applications for leave may be made to the class Teacher only.Absence without a leave will result in the pupil being marked absent .Long periods of illness should be supported by a Medical Certificate.


3. No child may attend school with infections dieseases like chicken pox,measeles,mimps and whooping cough or return to school before she has fully recovered.Please inform the class teacher when your child is sick.


4. Children are not expected to leave the premises during school hours without the permission of the head Mistress.Permission to leave the School Premises during lunch break or for the afternoon session will not be granted ,except on special consideration.One of the parents must come and pick the child.This is compulsory.Children should not buy eatables sold by the school gates as it is unhygienic.


5. Parents or gaurdians wishing to contact their children or wards during school hours are required to obtain permission of the Head Mistress and for valid reasons only.It is compulsory for every student to attend the classes till the last day of School term.

Conduct

Students should behave in a gentle manner at all times and in all places .They should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct.They should greet their teachers and elders when they meet them.

Disciplinary Action

1. The school reserves the right to dismiss those or whose conduct is harmful to others, or whose gaurdians show little intrest in the progress of their wards.Immorality , grave insubordination, contempt of authority or willful damage to school property is always sufficient reason for immediate dismissal.


2. Irregular attendance .Habitual illness,neglect of class work and home work, cheating,disobedience or disrespect to teachers or any members of the staff , or conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school ,all justify suspension or dismissal from school .Pupils are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct.

Duties of Parents

1. Parents are the first and primary teachers.


2. Parents should co-operate by coaching their children in the subject where they show low grade in the First and Second for motive assesment test.


3. They should spend quality time atleast onehour a day Assesments teaching their children.


4. Discourage your children from watching T.V. Encourage ouotdoor games , drawing ,singing etc

Note

Private tuition is strongly discouraged. Children should be taught by parents at home,by spending at least one hour a day with their children helping them in their studies.

Home Work

1. Parents / Guardians are requested to look into the diary of their ward daily and see that the lessons and home work assigned for the next day is done.They should sign the diary daily.Remarks made in the diary should be seen and countersignedby the parents regularly.


2. Parents / gaurdians should meet the class teachers beforeor after school hours only.They should not visit the class rooms during the class hours.

Meeting the Headmaster & Teachers

1. Parents / Gaurdians may not meet the teacher or enter the class room or staffroom during school hours.Enquiries must be made in the officeroom or in writing.


2. Parents may meet individual teachers before or after class with previous appointment.They are requested not to disturbthem during class hours.


3. TThe head Mistress can be interviewed on class days between 10.00 a.m to 11.30 a.m

Progress & Promotion

1. Students should get their progress report cards and answer papers signed by their parents / gaurdians.


2. No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to class without the permission.


3. Promotions are granted on the basis of the whole year's work of the pupil,hence the importance of regularity in attendanceand work.


4. For promotion , a pupil must put in 75% of attendance and must regularly attend crafts,drawing,physical training,computer classes,game classes and tests.

Uniform & School Property

1. Children should be habitually clean and always dressed neatly.The School uniform is to be worn on all class days and white uniform on Saturdays.


2. Students should take care of the School property. They should not write or scratch on desks, chairs,walls or doors of the School,nor should they damage property belonging to others.Any damagedone to the School property must remedied by the offender.


3. The School is not reponsible for goods or money or gold ornaments lost.Money should not be lent or borrowed or articles exchanged.


4. Parents are requested no to giveany money to their children unlesson written request from the school.They are not allowed to purchase any articles of food from the unauthorized dealers at or near the school gate.
